In 2004, a European Directive on Traditional Herbal Medicinal Products (2004/24/EC) was introduced. This new THMRS requires quality and safety of the product to be demonstrated, with efficacy being based on the traditional use of the herbal medicine, provided the claimed pharmacological effects are plausible.

Echinacea is a traditional herbal medicinal product used to relieve the symptoms of the common cold and influenza type infections, based on traditional use only.

In 2009, EchinEeze® paved the way for Natures Aid® to become the first UK manufacturing company to achieve a Traditional Herbal Registration.

Echinacea is a native North American wildflower often called purple coneflower, due to its distinctive shape and colour. To the Native Americans Echinacea was a sacred plant with an array of health benefits. Today, the main use of Echinacea is as an aid against cold and flu viruses. Each EchinEeze® tablet contains 70mg of dry extract from Echinacea purpurea root equivalent to 460-530mg of Echinacea purpurea (L) Moench root.

Addirional Ingredients:

Maltodextrin; Silica colloidal hydrated. Tablet core: Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate; Cellulose microcrystalline; Silica colloidal hydrated; Croscarmellose sodium and Magnesium stearate.

DOSAGE

For oral use. Adults, elderly and children over 12 years take 1 tablet 3 times a day.
Start at the first signs of a common cold.
Do not exceed the stated dose
