AKA 'Peruvian Ginseng' for its similarity to Asiatic ginseng in supporting physical and mental performance, Maca has been used for centuries in the Andes. Rio Amazon Maca is gelatinized, a concentrated form whereby starch has been broken down, making it more water soluble and easier to assimilate.
