Magtein® is a patented form of magnesium-L-threonate, a compound formed by bonding elemental magnesium to the vitamin C metabolite L-threonic acid.
Magnesium-L-threonate is the only supplemental form of magnesium studied to cross the blood brain barrier and help directly increase magnesium levels in the brain.
