Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is a climbing vine from the Peruvian Amazon. It gains its name from the barbed 'claws' with which it climbs the rainforest canopy. Cat's Claw bark has been used by the Ashaninka people of the Peruvian rainforest for at least 2000 years. Suitable for vegetarians/vegans.
This product is hypoallergenic / does not contain any of the 14 major allergens listed in Annex II (1169/2011) of the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation.
Directions: 3 tsp (15g) in 3 cups of water (600ml), bring to the boil and then simmer for 10 minutes. Strain and drink 1 cup three times a day before food. Adults 1-3 cups per day. Children aged 4-12: 1 cup per day.
Additional Warnings: Cat's Claw should not be used with medications intended to suppress the immune system, nor by those who have had transplant surgery, bone marrow transplants or skin grafts. Seek advice from your healthcare professional if taking any medication.
