Description

Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is a climbing vine from the Peruvian Amazon. It gains its name from the barbed 'claws' with which it climbs the rainforest canopy. Cat's Claw bark has been used by the Ashaninka people of the Peruvian rainforest for at least 2000 years. Suitable for vegetarians/vegans.

Directions
  • Directions: 3 tsp (15g) in 3 cups of water (600ml), bring to the boil and then simmer for 10 minutes. Strain and drink 1 cup three times a day before food. Adults 1-3 cups per day. Children aged 4-12: 1 cup per day.
