Ferrolactin contains two bioavailable forms of iron combined with methylated forms of vitamin B12 and folate as well as vitamin C, associated with iron absorption and beneficial lactic acid forming bacteria Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactococcus lactis which may support low iron bioavailability.
