Pau d'Arco (Tabebuia impetiginosa), also known as Lapacho, is a huge canopy tree native to the Brazilian rainforest. Nearly 100 species of Lapacho are known, but only a few of these produce the best quality bark for use in Rio Amazon tea. Rio Amazon teabags are made with unbleached paper.
This product is hypoallergenic / does not contain any of the 14 major allergens listed in Annex II (1169/2011) of the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation.
Additional Warnings: Pau d'Arco should not be taken simultaneously with strong acid products like vitamin C as this may affect potency of the herb. Not to be taken by people with bleeding disorders.
