Thorne’s Bromelain is a mixture of proteolytic enzymes from the pineapple plant. Each capsule contains 500mg of bromelain.

Ingredients: Bromelain (derived from the pineapple plant (Ananas comosus)), anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide, leucine, hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule

Directions: Take two capsules one to three times daily or as recommended by your qualified healthcare consultant.

Additional Warnings: Because bromelain has fibrinolytic effects that may potentially inhibit blood clotting, this product should be used with caution or avoided in individuals on anti-coagulant therapy or prior to surgery. It is not recommended to remove the Bromelain powder from the capsule to take orally, as it can be irritating to the oral mucosa.
