Maintaining a normal plasma homocysteine level is important for good cardiovascular health. Methyl-Guard Plus provides vitamins B6 and B12, folate and betaine. Methyl-Guard Plus is more concentrated than the standard Methyl-Guard with the added bonus of riboflavin.

- Directions: Take one to three capsules daily or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.
- Additional Warnings: Long term intake of this amount of vitamin B6 may lead to mild tingling and numbness. 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) supplementation is not recommended concurrent with methotrexate cancer therapy, as it can interfere with methotrexate's anti-neoplastic activity; however, this folate source has not been shown to interfere with the anti-inflammatory activity of methotrexate. An individual taking methotrexate for psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis can safely take a supplement containing folate.
