Warnings
  • Additional Warnings: Calcium supplements may interfere with the action of the calcium blocking drug Verapamil. High intakes of calcium (more than 2500mg per day) can potentially cause gastrointestinal disturbance and the formation of kidney stones in certain individuals. Excessive calcium may also interfere with the absorption of zinc, magnesium, and iron. Those with thyroid or kidney disease should take caution when taking calcium tablets.
