Description

Natren Megadophilus® Dairy Probiotic Powder is step one in Natren’s three-step custom probiotic system. This dairy-based probiotic powder features the specific strain Lactobacillus acidophilus, DDS-1, with 2 billion CFU per 1/2 teaspoon (1 gram).

Lactobacillus acidophilus is commonly associated with the small intestine, and Megadophilus® is designed as the first product in Natren’s three-step probiotic range. The dairy powder format uses a traditional dairy-based growth medium and is supplied as a loose powder for flexible daily use.

Natren Megadophilus® was introduced in 1983 and is recognised as one of the early single-strain probiotic products developed for refrigerated use. Natren’s production approach maintains the live bacteria in their original culturing medium (supernatant), and the product is packaged for refrigerated storage as directed on the label.

This powder format can be mixed into water or other suitable foods and drinks. When stored under the conditions stated on the label, potency is guaranteed through the printed expiration date.
