Chromium is an essential trace mineral that is known to enhance the actions of insulin, a peptide that is critical to the metabolism and storage of carbohydrate, fat and protein in the body. Adequate intake of Chromium is necessary for maintaining healthy glucose metabolism. NOW Tri-Chromium features three well-known and studied forms of Chromium to maximize its absorption. Not manufactured with yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
